What does a frog need?

I have spent some time today building a raised border near the pond to help the frogs get in to the pond, and it is hard to know what does a frog want! I have made the border and then managed to get a ramp to the pond. I was hoping to accommodate a waterfall Mum had offered but once the plants went in I am not sure I have left enough space. We need to get some plants so that the frogs can climb back out. I have some old broken bits of pots so I think I will put those in a small gap at the back for the frogs to hide in.

It looks pretty when the night light comes on, but I’m not sure what the fish thinks! I liked the way the light rippled on the back fence from lighting up the fountain.
