Tour de notre coin
TallGirl left on holiday today. She’s not really kitted out for beach holidays, with her pale skin, and constant desire to wear jeans and hoodies, but I’m sure she’ll have fun.
After dropping her off, I headed back through town past the roast cow (literally a whole cow being roasted over a bonfire since noon yesterday. They set it off during the ceremony for the opening of the ‘Tour de France roundabout’, which I unaccountably missed due to having a life) and all the TDF entertainment.
As soon as the bikes hit Gaillac, we piled in the car and headed up to a local village on the route to watch them speed by. Here are the Cofidis breakaway crew, including a local boy. Home in time to watch the finish in Toulouse.
