First Morning of the New Year!

After a great meal having fun and a nights sleep at our friends house we awoke to this lovely view over Trawden. We had fun playing "trivial pursuits" and catching up since last seeing our friends a couple of months ago. We have been good friends for over 40 years.

The house was built in 1705 and is one of four weavers cottages and Sir Roger Bannisters father's family lived in the farm next to the cottages at one time.

Ted loves it at their house as he can watch the birds and squirrels. We have seen pheasants, guinea foul, birds of prey and many other birds from there over the years.
