Chrysanthemums

Chrysanthemums have a strong association with eastern culture as they were first cultivated in China. Pottery from the 15th century BC, depicts the flower as we know it today. Respect for the flower runs so deep that a city was named after it....Chu Hsien,  Chrysanthemum City. They are believed to possess the power of life. Other cultures also have their own folk lore.
