ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH of the parish of Saint Joseph in Kaalheide built-in 1928. Design by architect J.H.H. van Groenendael with the influence of Eclecticism. The Lourdes grotto for the left side of the church is also involved in the protection, the Lourdes grotto is made of artificial stone and dates from 1938.

Church with the absidely closed nave with a gable roof. the cross arms are fitted with a lower gable roof. The building material used is Nievelsteiner sandstone, marl, and freestone. The facades are articulated horizontally by bands of marl. A dripstone band made of freestone is applied at the plinth height. The windows are partially framed with marl. The roofs are covered with slates. An angelus tower with peers has been placed at the celebration. The clock tower is located on the right-hand side of the portal façade and is also equipped with a peaked peak, sunk into a tent roof. Below the tower overhang, the timepieces are placed, below that are the reverberation holes and an expanded gallery with stylized representations of the four Evangelists on the corners of the tower. At the bottom of the tower is an arched window and above it a sculpture with a statue of Saint Joseph. In the right-hand side of the tower in the first building layer, an arch-shaped extended section with a dome roof with slates. To the left of the clock tower is the front facade, ending in a top facade and covered with a gable roof with slates. Center part front with extended porch with segment arch-shaped wooden entrance door with above a five-sided filling piece with a tile tableau. The porch also with a gable roof with slates. On the left side of the porch a rectangular wooden door with a round-arched skylight and a round-arched stained glass window. At the top of this access door, three narrow, stained glass windows are placed. On the right side of the porch a round-arched stained glass window. At the top of the porch, a three-part pointed arch window and at the top of the front facade a six-sided stained glass window. The side facades of the ship, each with three top facades with saddle roofs, all have a three-part stained glass arched window. The front facades of the cross arms have a small hexagonal window at the top with a three-part, stained-glass stained-glass window underneath. In the end façade of the right-hand cross arm, there is a side entrance with a segment-shaped wooden door with above a round-shaped filler piece with tile tableau. Door with top closure in the form of a top gable. On the altar side a round-arched absis with a conical roof with slates. On the left side of the absis a smaller round-arched extension with a conical roof with slates. On the right side of the absis an extension with a tent roof with an extension in a building layer with a flat roof and an extension with a hipped roof containing the sacristy. Hipped roof with ridge pawns and dormer window. Sacristy with rectangular wooden windows with grilles and high round-arched skylights.
