Finding treasures
A very young kookaburra has been visiting our garden over the last couple of weeks. He is such a cutie, with a head that looks too big for his body and a very clumpsy landing manouver, but apart from that, I love him!
He hasn't decided that I am a safe "bird" to approach yet, so when I heard him playing with an old crushed seedling pot this morning I had to take his photo through the window flyscreen. It is worth the not-so-clear photo though, as it is recording yet another "Evolving Moment" in the lives of my garden friends.
Don't you love the funny little look on his face and the way he is standing pigeon-toed? (or should that be kookaburra-toed?!)
I do hope that everyone has seen the New Year in by now, in the most festive ways imaginable. I'm still catching up on "life in the real world", although now I intend blipping each day and catching up on my back blips, and the real world can just wait! I've been off-line for way too long and it's good to be back. :)
