Classic

I had intended to have a wander round Fittie, but even before I got out of the car it started raining. I thought it was maybe just a passing cloud so I sat in the car for a bit waiting for the cloud to pass over. After a while I decided not to wait any longer and left without venturing out of the car.

It has been an afternoon of showers, some very heavy and even some thunder and hail. Not an afternoon to risk being out unless there is somewhere near at hand to shelter.

Earlier in the day I passed this classic Mercedes convertible. I am not one to pass a classic car without taking a photograph. When this model was new, and had I been able to afford a car like this, I think I would have been very tempted to own one. I don't know if they were a good sports car, but they certainly had the looks.
