Herbie Rides Again

I decided to cycle to work today seeing as it was my late start, and I left with plenty of time to spare as it was quite warm, so I didn't want to rush.  When I got to Madeira Drive I saw Herbie parked up, and it's owner was stood leaning on the car smoking a pipe.  I stopped to ask if I could take a photo and he was more than happy, and said that I was capturing it at the best time as it had the number plates on from the movie.  Apparently he'd just got back from an event and had forgotten to change the plates.

I then carried on my way and got to work about 20 minutes early which gave me time to freshen up and get changed.  The afternoon went quite quickly and I enjoyed my cycle home  - just over 17 miles in total there and back.

Xena has gone out for dinner with an Icelandic girl from her school, so I dropped her off and when I got back I went in the hot tub for the first time this year.  Unfortunately, I think I've caused the weather to change though and it's clouded over!

We also face timed Rachel and the girls as they go on holiday tomorrow.  They're off to Canada, Chicago and New York so it's a very exciting trip for them.  Scarlett and Violet were due to go to bed, but were so excited, I'm not sure if they'll sleep!
