Meeting Bode

Ashley sold her horse, Soldier, and now she has Bode. In this photo is Ashley's friend Meredith.

Bode is a really nice horse, from what I hear. I don't know anything at all about horses, but Ash has been crazy about them since long before I knew her. For her bachelorette party, we even went to Louisville, KY to watch races at Churchill Downs.

I have been dying to get outside, because I broke my tailbone a few weeks ago and haven't been able to do much at all. I was so excited about going to the barn with Ashley, and when I got there it was even better than I was hoping. It was windy and cool, and the air was so easy to breathe. I stomped around in some mud, and wet grass, and probably some poop. I met a bunch of horses and ponies and donkeys and dogs. It was so simple and peaceful, and I really can't wait to go back.
