Had a walk around town today... a few more earthquake-damaged buildings gone, and even saw a construction site!

Gap Filler is the perfect example of good things that come out of bad experiences such as the Christchurch earthquakes. This pic is taken looking through a pallet from the outside, showing the lady selling cold drinks and ice creams.

PS: to those who complained about the noise of music coming from this venue - Boo to you too! There's been so much noise from demolition in this vicinity that you'd think the locals would be able to put up with people enjoying a bit of fun for a couple of hours
