This Moment

This moment, this time, this place -- it's what you have. No more and no less. You're not guaranteed the future, and the past is behind you.

I was struck by these words, which I read recently in the "About" section of Now is all you have, a Blip journal by a talented photographer and writer in Iceland.

They are simple, yet profound. Those three sentences will travel with me into the new year.
