A different view from the garden today.

A newly emerged Comma butterfly in the front garden had disappeared by the time I got my camera and the Small Tortoiseshell was finding nectar while I was watering the garden.  

Lunch with my brother and my book on Shetland Otters arrived while we were out - it’s beautiful and a lovely reminder of our otter tracking trip with Brydon Thomason.
