Road junction

In Thailand they celebrate the day that Buddha gave out his instructions for life.  It is a very significant day on the Buddhist Calendar.  No alchol can be bought or served.  A lot of businesses close as people attend Temple. However, the larger shopping malls are open and after Temple people flock to the shops.  This meant that the car park at our normal shopping mall was extremely full.  As we did need to get some shopping we went to a Mall that was further out.   This shot was taken at the road junctio just past the Mall, we actually had to do a U-turn here to get home.  This is usually a busy road but we managed to find a quiet moment.  Chiang Mai is in a valley so we are surrounded by mountains.  We have not had much rain this year, which is a bit of a worry.  There has been the odd down pour and some wind.
