Meal time melee

It started with an ear of corn tossed on the ground. First one deer slowly approached the corn, then another, and another. By the time I stopped watching and walked on, six hungry deer were circling around the one ear of corn. I captured this blip when four of them were competing for a bite...all trying to get a nibble at the same time.

My other favorite capture today was this robin. It was hard to choose between the two pictures, but I finally decided I could blip a robin another day, but might not have an opportunity to blip four deer eating one ear of corn. Do you think I made the right choice?

Today was mostly sunny but very cold, around 18 degrees Fahrenheit. Brrr!
