Dune of Pilat

Mr P and I cycled 12kms in the blazing sun today and then climbed up Europe’s highest sand dune. Despite the exertions it was definitely worth the effort. Amazing views over the bay and the forest. Mr P took some great pics and hopefully he’ll upload some of them soon.
We cooled down with a swim on a deserted beach and then had tapas in a very posh clifftop restaurant. Bordeaux tomorrow.
