Weir

When down the river I'm usually looking for the herons, ducks, wagtails, swans, dippers & any garden birds, but kind of forget to look at what the crows are doing.

This crow was fishing at the edge of the water dropping over the weir. Not sure if it was getting tadpoles, larvae or small fry, but it had got something to munch & I watched it for a while.
