Dash-yum!

Another absolutely bonkers day with meeting after meeting and only a piece of toast to keep me going. Finally ended up at the office and whilst working through a list of nominees for courses A arrived....hungry and tired after a night shift when she didn't have time to eat and little sleep on the train. We chatted with C and V for a while - so odd to think I'm supposed to be on holiday tomorrow but haven't done any prep or got myself anywhere near ready to finish work or go anywhere. It will be nice to have a couple of days with A to do some relaxing, eating, shopping and chatting whilst I sort myself out and set off properly on Friday.
We went straight to Restaurant Isola and had delicious mixed starters with garlic pizza base then spaghetti (mine with huge prawns and asparagus, hers carbonara) before home to collapse a bit and look through the builders quotes ready for the architect coming tomorrow morning. Irritating that they've not presented their quotes the same so it's difficult to compare line by line. Yet another annoyance.....
