Summing up the year...

John made a lovely New Year's Eve Meal, which we ate before putting Rose to bed. It's good being married to someone who a) goes shopping and b) is a brilliant cook.

Then we spent some time this evening filling in Rose's year book with some of the dozens of pix we take all the time of her. This is one of her looking knitted to within an inch of her life. In Barbara Cartland pink.

Apart from Martin's illness over the last few months, 2012 has been a great year. New house, new baby, new existence. Here's hoping 2013 brings a fulsome recovery for my amazing and inspiring brother. We love you Martin.

John and I had a nice Skype sesh with the South London crew. That makes them sound like a scary gang - but actually we talked about kittens..I miss them and look forward to seeing them soon.
