All decked out

Work was fine this morning, slowly things are slotting into place and making a bit more sense. Interestingly, Evashni (Nik’s wife and GP I used to work with) will be joining us in September once their youngest son has started school, and she’s currently trying to get the hang of the system - she says it’s complicated. I’m glad it’s not just me!

A counsellor has an appointment this morning to come and look round the building - like we did at my old place, Nik rents out room space, and it turned out to be one of they guys from my old place. It’ll be nice if a few familiar faces start appearing.

As I finish at 1pm on Mondays, it means I can now go to the Monday afternoon Zumba class at the gym, I had just enough time to get there. It’s the same instructor as my Thursday class, but it’s actually a better class, it seems more intense. I then swam 20 lengths in the outdoor pool, followed by a jacuzzi.

When I got home I prepared the dinner and then sat in the garden until Alan and Xena got home. There are noticeably more butterflies around today so tried getting some shots but they weren’t that good.

After dinner Alan and I went for a walk at the beach as it was such a lovely night, but poor Xena had lots of homework to do so she couldn’t join us. She seems very tired today too.

Anyway, today I thought my Blip should be of Alan’s hard work on the new decking before the hot tub goes up tomorrow.
