....friends will be friends....

I had to finish the year with a shot of Charlie...didn't I....here she is with Pasha, the pair of them are inseparable when she's here.

So what did 2012 mean to you?

For me the highs (and lows) were:-

January: Spending a day in Manchester with hebs and enjoying the Chinese New Year....a dragon year in a dragon city! (29th)

February: The Baking Bird creating a series of fishing cup cakes for my birthday! (16th)

March: The Boss getting to sit astride our friend Graham's birthday present......a Harley!....and he let her fire it over! (17th)

April: The Daughter buying her first new car...a Kia Picanto with all the bells and whistles. (26th)

May: Charlie's 1st Birthday party! (12th a few days early)

June: Our new bathroom finally being finished! (14th)

July: Our new conservatory being built! (30th)

August: The Olympics, obviously....our holiday in the Boss' brothers cottage in Glencoe....and me being really quite ill shortly afterwards. (3rd, 4th, 11th,12th,18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd,24th and 25th)

September: The loss of a much loved colleague by her own hand....and being asked to do a reading at the funeral service and again at the memorial service...plenty of tears. (3rd, 6th, 13th)

October: My new car...and the bloody useless tits who sold it to me, losing the registration documents etc....it took until December 20th before I could get my personal number plate on it! (14th)

November: The visit of our friends from Siberia....and meeting up with LeeAnne.....New Year resolution....to meet more blip friends? (23rd, 24th and 30th)

December: The retirement of my colleague Dai....after 33 1/3 years working together. (19th)

All in all not a bad year.....apart for the bloody awful weather!
