Time for reflection.

Today was a day of extreme laziness. I feel good about indulging in one such day a year. Sarah's boyfriend, William, joined us for tea and then we all crammed into Fiona's Micra and went down to watch the fireworks at Fisherrow. They were great. Spontaneous enthusiastic applause when they finished. Sarah and William went off to party (yes, I'm softening to the use of 'party' as a verb) and we came home and I made the boys hot chocolate.

Fiona got me this whisky for Christmas. The packaging is very impressive; part Celtic art nouveau, part Alien vs Predator. It's clear to see how excited I am about sampling this as 2012 ticks into 2013.
