a new day, a new dahlia.....

today has felt a little flat  - not too  surprising after the drama of all the sporting events yesterday! Been nice not to have been glued to the screen all day though so back to mundane reality!

thankful that the garden didn't sulk too much last night without me watering it - still waiting for some rainfall so if anyone has any spare to share, please send to Essex!   This dahlia is a new one that I got at a recent NGS Open Garden and is called 'Dusky Pink'... think I can see why!
