Another day, another beach

Llafranc.
Just around the headland from Callella de P. A longer, sandy beach and when we arrived very quiet. Quiter now after the weekend anyway. Many of the apartments are owned by Catalans from Barcelona and apart from holidaying in August they come up for the weekends.

Llafranc is considered slightly less upmarket than C de la P but it is very nice. Cheaper to eat here too apparently.
Hired a parasol as there was very little shade and had a couple of hours there. Eda wasn’t in beach mood really though she went in the sea. Think she dislikes the sand more than pebbles.
We found somewhere for a coffee and a light lunch before returning to the apartment for Eda’s sleep. Many people in this complex are French and like the Spanish have a long, late lunch so took advantage of an empty pool and went in myself. A very rare event!
Grace, John and Eda went in later.
Once she is in bed this evening G & J are going out to dinner. We will of course be baby sitters. No hardship.
