The Old Railway Track
We had another trip downto Dartmoor today and Tess & I took a two hour walk over the moors towards Swelltor Quarry, along the dismantled Princetown to Yelverton railway line.
It was the most glorious day with a welcome breeze to take the edge off the heat and stunning views in all directions. Extra shows a family of wild Dartmoor ponies taking a welcome drink. We settled for a shared cream tea when we got back to Princetown.
As the railway track is now defunct, I've tagged this for a Derelict Sunday.
We got home in time to see the super over climax to the Cricket World Cup Final. What an amazing game; neither side deserved to lose - a shame they couldn't share the title but I guess there had to be a winner.
We headed to the local Wetherspoon's afterwards for a much needed pint and a meal.
