A day at Kingsbrae Garden, St-Andrews-by-the-Sea,

A short drive of just over an hour from Machiasport Maine took us over the Canadian border to Kingsbrae Garden one of the loveliest gardens we've visited. We were treated to twenty seven acres of flowers, trees, water features, sculptures and animals on a sunny, absolutely perfect day. The garden was peaceful, fragrant and just bursting with color. We meandered around taking everything in, then had a delightful lunch at the cafe. What a gem, so close to us just waiting for us to finally discover it.

This day came in foggy, but turned in to a gorgeous day ending with a rainbow here over the river.

All hands so glad we found this beautiful spot.
