Ouch!

Another Sunday, another footie tournament!

This time we were in Newton St Cyres and it was hot, hot, hot!

The boys didn’t have the greatest time. Cully entered 2 teams and neither got through the group stage. One of our team also had a nasty knock and was stretchered off as they were worried he had a broken ankle. Thankfully, a hospital visit determined it was ligament damage rather than a break so hopefully that will be a quicker recovery time for him - and at least he can forego the plaster. As he had previously broken a foot and a hand he has had enough if that.

At least the team’s early exit meant we could all head home and have a nice cool shower.

And this was the first tournament when we didn’t need to festoon the garage with the gazebo awning so it would dry out. One tournament to go so let’s hope that one is dry too.
