Lavender

Next door's lavender looks so pretty when it's in full bloom. 

I was so glad to have ten hours sleep last night. S had her first day (afternoon) back at work in our class this afternoon. In some ways it's like she never left, in other ways it seems so strange to see her here. The children were beyond thrilled to see her, but a few have been a bit more bonded to me than to her, which is to be expected I suppose. 

Our characters didn't disappoint for her first session, with several bouts of angry crying after a scuffle with somebody, and a full on fight taking place in the room- it was like she'd never been away!

I had a date last night. I met the guy in Waitrose after we matched online, and we finally managed to meet. I like him and we had a nice hour sitting in the last of the sun. Who knows.
