Happy Hogmanay Blippers!

Well done hubby on suggesting a meander through George Square and dinner in the Merchant City.

We were all treated to a ceilidh band in a marquee in the square. After a bit of encouragement the band managed to get a healthy number of people up off their bums swinging complete strangers around and around.

On to the fruitmarket in the Merchant City where we had the pleasure of stuffing our faces whilst watching a man scrabbling up and down long lengths of fabric to attach things to the ceiling. It was fantastic dinner entertainment.

Walked back through George Square on the way back to the car only to be treated to a pipe band giving a stonking rendition of Flower of Scotland.

Home now eating sticky toffee pudding and waiting to see if eldest can live up to his promise that he absolutely will stay up until the bells. The chances of him doing that are slim at best. The chances of me doing that are even less.
