Beyond Brilliant

I was so happy this morning because mornings at the summer house are the best! We have our breakfast on the veranda which is bright and sunny, and then it’s chillax time. I sometimes take my red ball out into the shade on the grass. Mum worked on a crossword puzzle.

And then, just like that, mum said Alice, do you want to go to the small campsite and have lunch? She had just thought of it, apparently. And we haven’t been yet this year. I said YES!

So we went to the nearby village. It has a small campsite with a restaurant. It was quite busy but we got a table. And this is what we had: schnitzel with fries and béarnaise sauce! I got plenty, and I can report that it was delicious. Yay!
