Dirty Girls

Today our Community Midwives team ran the 5k Muddy Run for Life, in honour of our dear friend and colleague Emma. Emma is currently undergoing treatment, she joined us as a spectator along with her cute little dog Arthur.

There was laughter, more laughter and you guessed it, even more laughter. We all got round although we didn't rush. We were totally filthy by the time we had finished, see the extra shot.

Thanks to Anne for organising it all. I've now got bruised knees, a sunburnt head and I understand a bit more about trench foot! All cleaned up now and hair less pink, I'm looking forward to my bed tonight.
