Someone's moving

I got a message the other day that Gail (my ex-wife) had torn her Achilles, and has now had an op and is immobilised. She and Mike move from the house they're renting in Penrith to their new house (also in Penrith) tomorrow. 

I offered to help today with a few jobs - dismantling beds and wardrobes for the removal guys tomorrow, disconnecting washing machines and dishwashers etc. After I dropped off their cats at the cattery, I helped Mike take some boxes over to the new house. Mike might not look over-enamoured but he was a willing and excellent helper.
