Southport

We had the usual mahoosive premier inn brekkie and then, having failed to see much sea despite the tide being in, wandered on the promenade, rode the pier land train (not so) little one made plenty of friends including the land train driver who let him press the noisy button... and visited the model railway village.

All essential tourist attractions. Youth revisited, it was nice to spend a bit longer with mum and dad (john39) before travelling home.
