A pig in a boot

It being a bit of a miserable day I have been cheering myself up by scanning some old photographs taken in 1970 during our days in the Fijis.

The main offering is a very large pig being transported in the boot of a car . It was very much alive and was tethered by the leg to the petrol filler pipe. What could possibly have gone wrong?

The other is from the island of Ovalau and shows a luxury executive bus run by the Ovalau Better Bus company.

The original photographs were taken with the help of my old Leica IIIb.
