Its been a long weekend

I got the call every mother dreads yesterday.
"Your son has been involved in an accident, we are waiting for the ambulance."
Anxiety child went to the park with his brother to build his confidence and ended up having his head stapled and bruising around his spleen. To make it even worse he had to stay the night too.
I have to say though he coped remarkably well once I got there and calmed him down. He has gone very withdrawn but that is because he is so far out of his comfort zone.
We've just had another scan and they think his spleen is ok. So we are now waiting for a lovely doctor to come along and tell us we can go home.
