Another lovely walk...

... this time in the north of the island so plenty of quarries including one that was used to bury our waste for many years. It’s now a semi wild nature area with plenty of seats to sit and admire the view.
I think there are well over 250 quarries, mainly in the north where the best diorite can be found. Check out the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral if you want to see what it looks like.
