Lorna

We started the day at IKEA for it opening and a full English breakfast £2.95, and it wasn’t bad. As usual we ended up buying much more than we went for but that’s always the case in IKEA.
We pottered about at home and watched the Wimbledon women’s final, and were surprised that Serena Williams was well and truly beaten by Simona Halep. She was incredible.
This evening we went to Lorna’s Birthday party that started at Garrick’s Temple on the river near Hampton Court and ended in a nearby pub. Lorna is R’s work colleague and a really lovely woman, and I think they help keep each other sane.
