'Come away from the din ...'

We have had a fabulous day - long walks in the misty weather with some wee spells of sunshine.
Days when the sounds of the peewits and skylark infuse your mind and the constant sound of the waves - like a heartbeat- bring the heart of you to silence.
Even now that I am working less I find it really difficult to access the deeper creative part of myself in the middle of all the practicalities of every day . In the silence here , different awarenesses emerge and stronger intentions .
And change seems possible.

' Come away from the din. Come away to the quiet fields, over which the great sky stretches, and where, between us and the stars, there lies but silence; and there, in the stillness let us listen to the voice that is speaking within us.'
