Langdale Pikes

A drive into the Lakes with No 1 son. Parked at Elterwater and walked along the River Brathay to Chester’s where we looked around the shop and had coffee.  We then crossed the river and continued the walk back to Elterwater. Lovely.  Sunny and warm. Picnic under the tree by the Britannia.

When home, in the afternoon I noticed a group of Bay walkers coming across the sands (see extra). It was the first time we had seen a walk since we have lived here.  Very impressive.
