In the era of the dying high street.... the crowds filled the street to witness the closing of Knight and Lee the John Lewis store at the heart of Southsea since forever.

There were tears / a choir but no sign of the senior management.

How many other closing stores stir such feels. no one can quite believe it’s gone.
