Oats, and wheat and barley grow

After a fair number of years of walking the dog in these fields I can now reliably identify the crops   This is barley with the spikelets at the top of the stem.  We also have wheat and oats on the circular walk I do every morning.  I'll attempt to get some photos before they are harvested.

Very productive day cracking on with clearing a messy part of the garden and taking two car loads of broken bricks to the recycling centre.
