Greenfinch

Merlin and I had one of our one-to-one outings today. We went to Wicken Fen. I was hoping to see dragonflies which is their speciality - but nairy a one did I see ! (because it was cloudy I think - they apparently like bright sun best) So we watched birds for a while and walked the woodland walk and saw butterflies. I spotted this Greenfinch first on a feeder with three  Goldfinches (see extra) but couldn't see all of him. Then he returned and briefly posed on a post. Bit blurred - but he was a long way off so max zoom used. Lovely to see, though, not seen one for years.
