To the Shore

A trip to IKEA with the son to get some essentials. And the SK bought him a yucca which he seemed profoundly and movingly grateful for. 
Back home to find a very welcome notification in the post, and so, it being a fine day we decided we’d have a step along to Leith. A swifty in the Malt & Hops and then along to the Shore. It’s as lovely a place as it’s ever been, and we shared our quite separate memories of it over the years. So quite a suitable place to write a tiny momentous bit of our shared history.
