A new year beckons...

2012 hasn't been a great year for me. In truth, I can't wait for it to end. I have decided not to celebrate its passing.

Rather arbitrarily I have decided 2013 will be better. I have decided this because I'm going to make it better. I have much that I want, so I'm going to go out there and get it.

I hope everyone is having a good Hogmanay. I am running in the Portobello Promathon tomorrow - it's only a 4 miler, but I want to start 2013 positively, as I mean to go on!
