Flower Friday

Our son in Alaska told us this: When the Canadian Fireweed flowers open all the way to the top of the plant, summer is over. We have ways to go yet!
Fireweed is not that abundant in our area, but one plant keeps popping up from under our porch year after year. I'm thankful for it.
