Chester FC 1 Dulwich Hamlet 2

In my view this was potentially the most interesting of the pre-season games as I thought the opposition were the same standard as us. 

Unfortunately Chester played like a team who had just got off a coach after a long journey which is exactly what had happened. They only set off on the 8 hour coach journey from Newquay this morning and arrived about 45 minutes before kick-off. I'm sure the last thing on their mind was playing a match and it showed in their performance.

The blip shows new signing Danny Elliott who signed just before kick-off and wasn't involved in the trip to Cornwall. He was an unnamed trialist against Wigan last Saturday and scored a wonder goal. He looks very fast and I'm hoping he will add a bit of flair to the team.
