Working hard

Big day at work today. We have won the Queens award for Industry for the third time and Prince Andrew was due this afternoon to present the award. Lots of security around this afternoon as a result. Had to go down to the head office and noticed this lot working hard waiting for him to arrive. Didn’t end up going to the presentation but it was the normal cringe worthy event apparently where we didn’t quite get it right. Worked over to get some more time in the bank as J had a work from home day to wait for the rest of the garden furniture. She built the table and a chair while I did the ironing and watched the second half of the England game in the women’s world cup.
