Breakfast time

The red bellied woodpecker from the other day has been coming to the feeder daily and we found out why!   There is one fledgling up in the oak tree that is getting a daily meal of pulverized sunflower seeds.  

I had photos of this the other day but had already posted my blip so I waited to get more and today was the day.    Taken through the window with bright sun so not so sharp.

We have really enjoyed watching them!    The squirrels are loving the momma as when she laids on the feeder she sprays seeds all over the ground.  Those rascally squirrels have not figured out how to get on the homemade feeder in a year!
