Longtailed tit feeding

I took a break from compiling 'Carlyle Adventures 2012' this afternoon to warm up by the radiator, grab some veggie fingers and beans (gourmet food at this house!), add a few bits of the jigsaw (ceiling bits..very tedious) and blip before the light disappeared. The longtails arrived in a flurry in the elder tree and descended on the fat bit feeder. I'm amazed at how they eat. The other tits jam peanuts etc between their feet (talons?! help me out here lawrie) and then peck away, but the longtails hang from a twig and hold the food in their other foot - it looks very tricky, but obviously works for them.
