FIGGY's Sporadic Blips

By Figgy

It's bin day

It's bin day 365 of my Blip journey ....

.... and I almost forgot about it.

This is strange considering that for most of those 365 days Blip has been stuck firmly in my cerebral cortex making it topmost in my mind and for 365 days has been so prevalent in my occipital lobe influencing my view of everyday objects in different, new, and exciting ways.

The brain has done it's bit - my biggest problem has been translating what I see into what the camera captures.

I have not moved forward in my photography in the way I had hoped when I started out down this road but boy have I enjoyed it all the same. My greatest pleasure has come from all of you, my Blip friends, and the joy of seeing the world and your lives through your blips and journals.

I know it's been said a thousand times but this Blip thing is great and you are all fantastic, witty, and supportive friends.

There were times when I didn't think I would reach this milestone and I'm unsure if I'll continue relentlessly for the next 365 days. I do know however that I would miss you all too much to consider stopping blipping altogether. So I will continue blipping as and when I can, learning to chill a bit more about missing a day here and there, as I do.

Happy Blipping!

Margaret x

ps. A perfect end to a perfect year with the news that Ruaridh has been to GP today and has been given the all clear from his infection - thank goodness.

Out with the old and in with the new!
