Some days demand a change of perspective, so by lunchtime I was ready for a visit to Tredegar House for a wander around the grounds - K1 fancied finding a deckchair on the grass somewhere in the shade of a tree. We kept out of the house and took a walk around the formal gardens and lake instead. We'd visited when the roof was being replaced/repaired and it looks so good now, scrubs up well.
